Introduction to Gliding
The Puget Sound Soaring Association will host an Orientation to Soaring (flying in a glider) event for WAI and 99's members! We'll meet at Bergseth field (WN76), 31500 SE 408th St, Enumclaw, WA 98022, at 11:00 am on Saturday July 25th. There is shade available, and a porta potty but they recommend you bring your own food, water, hat and sunscreen. Also, throw in a lawn chair for yourself and you'll be all set!
If you're interested in adding on, the price for an intro ride is usually $230--the fee covers tow and glider rental fees, and includes a 30-day club membership with your first flight to 3000 ft AGL. This flight typically lasts 30 minutes. 30-day members can fly another flight - either on the same day or within 30 days, for $180.
Bergseth Field is a 50-60 min drive from the Factoria area. Let me know if you would like to carpool and where you are coming from and I will try to connect you!
Please RSVP ASAP to Lainareeves99@gmail.com or 425-765-8640 so we will know how many to plan for!
